Well I'm embarrassed to even post!

Crikey, I know I'm not a punctual blogger, but it has been crazy ages since I posted on here, poor poor blog! I have been making a few bits and pieces, but to be honest, as well as lack of time to share, I have been seriously struggling to find time to make :( soo much so that I almost considered deleting my poor little blog!

I have realised that things need to change though, I am a much nicer person to be around when I am crafting, chilled, relaxed and alot happier so I have decided that I need to force myself back into crafting .. What a hard life eh! I'm sure it will not be easy at first and I am fully prepared for it to take a long time to get sorted agin but I am determined!

I will be back soon with something pretty for you all to see. Until then thank you for putting up with me! xx

Sweet Baby Jesus

Today I have a Christmas card to share with you all. This card features one of my all time Christmas images. This little cutie is called Baby Jesus and is made by Wild Rose Studio. I love it soo much, a nice traditional Christmas image with just enough cute to make me adore it!!
The papers are scrummy and are from a 6x6 Teresa Collins paper pack called Christmas Cottage. I love using this layout with double sided papers - the 4 panels you can see behind the image were made with just 2 pieces, and ... even better still you can make 2 cards with the same layout so essentially the block background only used 1 sheet of paper! I kept the rest of the card pretty simple. The image was mounted with nesties, I used some bakers twine, a few gems and some poinsettia flowers alongside my sentiment which has been raised onto a dienamics vintage flourish. - Love how this sits so nicely behind a craftwork cards mini message!

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:

Mine's a Pint

It was my Dads birthday a couple of weeks ago and here is the card that I made him. I used to struggle soo much making cards for men, but I just find it soo easy with these new Wild Rose Studio images - that there looks EXACTLY like my dad! Its uncanny!!! Once I got my goodies together I really enjoyed making this. Wild Rose Studio make some gorgeous goodies perfect for mens cards. Both this image and the papers are made by them - I think their male images are just the right amount of cute that I enjoy using them, but are 'manly' enough to make a fab card!

I had soo much fun colouring his tummy in with my copics, trying to get him rounded enough to make it lifelike LOL!! The papers are Wild Rose Studio Man About Town and are the whole pad is scrummy, lots of lovely rich colours and manly patterns. I finished the card off with a sentiment cut from a Tim Holtz sizzlet alphabet, some sheer ribbon and some Die-namics stacking stars - my go to male embellishments! I remembered that my nesties perfectly border a craftwork cards mini message so I framed that in the bottom corner to match too.

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:

    Triple - Treat :)

Trick or Treat - Tri-ple Treat - see what i did there ;) haha!! Today I am completely spoiling you - not one but 3 goodies for you! Oh yes, lots of yumminess to share with you today!! Apologies now - I am pretty sure this will be a lengthy post, I just couldn't decide which of the adorable CC Designs Meoples to use so I used all 4 of them and where thry all match, and I have neglected my little blog for a while I thought I would share them all together!!
I have made some sweet little miniture cards to share today. This first one uses 2 of the cute images, coloured of course with my copics! I have used some glossy accents on the little monsters eyes so they are super shiny, and I have added some stickles to the stripe in her hair, just small details but they really add to each individual image. The papers are from Kaisercraft Tigerlily and I finished it off with some gems, a small doily and some ribbon.
This next card features the cute little pumpkin witch image. I think this is my favourite image, I had soo much fun colouring the pumpkin in. I think you can just about see the glossy accents that I added to the pumpkins eyes - it really makes them POP. I added some bakers twine behind the image, and some gems in the corner. The little fence/gate at the bottom was created using my Tim Holtz Lace die. I cut the lace slightly larger than the card and stuck just the very edges down, allowing the lace to bend slightly around the image. Im really pleased with the way it adds dimension to the card.
Finally, I have an ATC to share with you made to match the cards. To add some interest I have used lots of different techniques, I did some tearing, used border punches, added texture with the doily, tied some twine into her bunches - well a girlie has to accessorise now!! Then I added some gems, a flower and a pearl :)

    Christmas Release at Jellypark

There is a new release over at Jellypark - lots and lots of gorgeous christmas images - I think these have to be my absolute favourite images yet! Seriously how cute it this little snowman? - Too cute I know ;) This is "Snowman with Birds" and he comes with that sentiment - infact, he has two sentiments that come with him and they all come in their own little doodled box. I cut this one up to make it fit in the top corner of my card.
The image has of course been coloured with my copic markers, I added some glossy accents to the little hanging decorations so in real life they are super shiny just like ornaments shoud be. I kept the rest of the card pretty simple so as not to take away from the fab image. The papers are from my scrap box, then I simply tied a bow with some bakers twine adding a bell and did some paper piecing - simples :) To see what the rest of the design team did with the images, and to get a peek at the rest of the release hop on over to the JellyPark Blog. Or if you fancy a bit of a challenge, the new Jellypark Friends challenge is up and is Anything but a Card with as much pink as you can!!!!
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Now I have got the exciting bit out of the way - that gorgeous little snowman up there, I wanted to say a little thank you to all those that are still out there reading this! I have been making things, and have been posting cards elsewhere, but I have been finding it hard to get back into blogging properly, when my time is really limited running around after my three little ones and working I have been finding myself wanting to spend my little bit of spare time creating and not blogging which in a way is good - but is also very bad for my poor neglected blog! I have lots of creations ready to share with you all and am hoping to get them all posted asap :) x x

    Nativity Cutie

Well finally I am making my way back to my blog. I have made a few bits and pieces, but I haven't quite got around to blogging them - shame on me!! I have just whipped my middle baby off to school - she started yesterday, only doing half days but in 3 weeks time she will be full time yippee!! While the baby is napping I am sneaking on the laptop to update my blog :)
This is a card I made as a sample using the gorgeous new Wild Rose Studio stamps. Honestly - I don't think I have seen a cuter christmas image ever! Those of you who have visited my blog before will be well aware of my addiction to all things WRS - this one is just ridiculous though - babies and sheep - the PERFECT combination right? This little cutie is called Nativity Play and can be purchased here.
I have of course coloured the image with my copics, the papers are Bazzill Basics, Believe and are gorgeous - just perfect for more traditional christmas images. I do have to admit to being a fan of red and green on christmas cards. The rest is pretty simple really, I mounted everything onto kraft cardstock, distressed the edges slightly and finished the card off with some paper twine, a charm and a mini message.

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:
Stampin' for the Weekend - Starting Christmas Early
Christmas Crafting - Traditional Christmas Colours

    Something a little different :)

Ok, so today I don't have a card to share with you, I have been busy crafting though. Although it is normally just cards that I share with you all, I just had to share my latest makes. They are soo cute if I do say so myself .... introducing ... Abigail the Owl :)

...... and so she doesn't get lonely on the christmas tree, and to save many an argument in our little house .... here is her brother Ryan.

Just a Bethany, Mummy and Daddy to go and I will have a whole family of them ready for the tree!! Just incase you were a worrying ... that is my hedge not my christmas tree ... although I have made Christmas decorations, I am not crazy enough to have my tree up haha!! I just know that I have very little crafting time and really wanted to have them done in time :) x x x

    Pretty in Pink

Today I have another gorgeous Lili of the Valley card to share with you. This time I have used one of their printed panels. I picked these up ages ago from a craft show and I think I have only used one! I really enjoy picking out papers and then colouring my image to match so using a pre coloured image always feels really strange to me! As the image was coloured in various pinks, i decided the safest thing to do was go full on girly, so my card is full on pink pink pink with a side order of pink!

The papers are a mix of polkadot from craftwork cards and paisley swirl which i think is DCWV - it doesnt show much in my picture but it is super sparkly :) Another simple layout today, finished off with some butterflies, some coloured twiney string, a little princess charm and some pearls. The sentiment is another craftwork cards circle and has been mounted using my nesties again.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Paper Pretties - Black, White plus one other colour
Celebrate the Occasion - Childs Birthday
Craftroom Challenge - Pins and/or Charms

    Birthday Fairy

Ok, so I am not going to get ahead of mysel here but ... check me out posting on another consecutive day .. yeah baby!!! Another cutie of a card to share with you today, this time an adorable Sugar Nellie Fairy ... I do love my fairies!! A very BRIGHT card today, but I am loving it. I am even pleased with my colouring ... I think me and my copics might just learn to get along with eachother again if they keep behaving themselves.

The gorgeous papers are from a really old paper pack, I found the scraps lying around and decided it was about time they made it onto a card. The sentiment is a craftwork cards mini message and it has been mounted onto a black circle cut with nestablilities circle dies and mounted onto a kraft circle cut with the scalloped circles. I love how the message nests into the diecut shapes. I finished the card off with a few gems, and a little bit of black ribbon tied with a yellow and red rose.

Again, another picture of the cute image,  I like to think it was determination to get a better picture to post that helped my colouring along :)

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:

    City Crafter  -  Bake Sale

    Christmas Fairy

Today I have yet another Christmas card to share with you! This little beauty is made with my newest stamp. I don't think she is from the newest Lili of the Valley release, but it has been that long since I have been crafting properly that she is new to me, and gorgeous she is too ... Look at her catching snowflakes balancing on that huuuuge present!

I have of course coloured my image in with my copic markers, I'm really enjoying using them again, just need to practise with them again now! I added oodles of glamour dust to her wings and the falling snow, and even managed to find my pack of Christmas bells and poinsettia flowers that I bought last year so I have nice festive embellishments too :) ... I am LOVING knowing where stuff is ... I found the papers too, they are from an old Craftwork Cards goody bag I bought a while back and are gorgeous, i  am especially loving the love hearts :)

I thought I would finish with a close up of the I age for a change, she is rather pretty after all, that and then I can get a good look at my shocking colouring enticing me to try harder on the next cards ;)

I made this card especially for the Lili of the Valley challenge, I haven't joined in with them for soo long and with it being my new stamp it would have been rude not to play. the challenge this week is spots and stripes .. I have spots on the image and background paper and I have some stripes on the bakers twine.

I would also like to enter my card into the following challenges:
    Creative Card Crew - Christmas
    E K E F - Red, Pink, Cream, Kraft
Paper and Such - Wings and Things
Paper Playtime - Polkadots and Sentiment

Thank you for all your lovely comments, hopefully I will be back tomorrow with another creation to share x x x x
