It's all Wishi Washi at Jellypark!!

Its my turn to join the challenge team this time with my lovely friends over at the   Jellypark Friends challenge blog! This week the theme is "Wishi Washi" (to use Washi tape & office supplies on your card). I have been told that it is national masking tape day!! - I never knew such a day even existed but .... any excuse to craft!!! I don't own any washi tape ( yet!! ) so I ran with the office supplies side to the theme. Boy did I find this card a challenge, I literally left it untill the last minute to make because I had no idea what I was doing, but this is actually one of my favourite cards I have made in a long time!!

I got a bit trigger happy with my stapler - i stapled the chipboard letters on and I stapled the image panel to the card as well. I also added a miniture bulldog clip and some paperclips to make it extra officey. The image I used is the fabulous "dinosaur boy" available here in the Jellypark store. I have of course coloured my image in with my copic markers. The papers are fab, they are by Bazzil Basics and are from the dino-mite range. I kept the card nice and simple to highlight the fabulous image!!

Dont forget, that as well as a new challenge being set on the Jellypark Friends challenge blog, there is a fabulous new digital image today, one of the cutest little nurses I have even seen!!  I know this challenge will get you thinking, it sure got me worried for a while, but I hope you come and join in the fun, Im sooo glad I did - I LOVE my card!!!!

New Release at Jellypark

Well today is release day over at Jellypark, and the lovely Claire is releasing this GORGEOUS little mermaid. Isn't she just the cutest - I adore her!!! She is soooo beautiful, and really easy to colour too - I thought i would try something different and go for very muted pastel colours with my colouring today so this little lady is wearing a rather dashing pink/turquoise number :D

With such a gorgeous image, not much else is really needed on the card, so I finished it off with a doily, a little arrangement of flowers and some digital papers I purchased especially for this little lady - although I have to say she is much prettier than the mermaids in the paper!! If you are loving this little image as much as me, please head on over to Jellypark Friends, the new challenge started today with a theme of  "Girly Girl" and we would love it if you could join in. Lots of gorgeous girly goodness to be seen!

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:

I have of course coloured Bella in with my copic markers, the papers have all been mounted onto craft, and I am sooo excited about the sentiment - i have literally just discovered that one of my circle nesties perfectly mounts a craftwork cards round message - how cool is that - I love it nestied up in a scalloped circle too. Wild Rose Studio Lovely in Lilac

Firstly I would like to apologize for my poor neglected little blog!!! It has been a few months again since I last blogged. I have been up to other bits and bobs here and there that I havent really had the time to craft. Me and my other half have been together for almost 8 years now - and have just got around to booking our wedding - yayness!!! Its all very short notice - hence the lack of blogging, but Im getting married in July - eeeek!

I do have some cards to share though. I really do miss my crafting, it really helps me to relax in the evenings, something I really need to do now I am wedding planning, returning to work and looking after my wee babba too!! I have some gooooorgeous new goodies from WRS to play with, so hopefully I will have more projects to share with you all very soon, but today I have a card using some of my favourite WRS products.

I have used Wild Rose Studio - Lilac Mist papers, and Wild Rose Studio - Granny Relaxing stamp which has of course been coloured in with Copic Markers. I kept the layout of the card quite simple, focusing on the gorgeous image - just like my nan with her cuppa tea!! I simply layered the papers onto some kraft cardstock piercing along the edges for some detail and finished the card off with some Cherry Blossom and Rose flowers, a mini message and some pearls.

If you LOVE Wild Rose Studio as much as me - they currently have a DT call, you can work with tons of the latest goodies as soon as they are released!! Head on over here http://www.facebook.com/wildrosestudioto check it all out.

Happy Birthday Skater Boy

Well it isn't often that I get to say this but heck - i really LOVE this card! I think alot of it is to do with its simplicity - ok so there is an AWFUL lot of buttons on it, but other than that it is quite simple. I am trying really hard to work on my colouring this year, I keep seeing awesome artwork out there and just wishing my cards could compare, this image is really great for practising, the dude has a nice big head LOL!!

I used one of my new kraft card blanks, and then simply added 3 strips of Basic Grey Archaic paper - my go to papers for masculine cards. These sadly have nearly all gone too, but I only used scraps for this card, so I must remember to copy this layout in the future!! I cut the image out with circle nestabilities and coloured him with my copic markers. I then stuck him to the card and surrounded him in various buttons I have been collecting for years yet never seem to use. I finished the card with some faux stitching, some orange gems and a rubon sentiment.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Papertake Weekly - All the Bs (I was totally inspired to dig out those buttons and there is bling on there too in the form of gems)
ABC Christmas - A for Anything Goes
Pixie Dust - We're Going Dotty

Inspirational Notebook

Well, as I said a few posts back, one of my new years resoloutions was to make some more me time and to try and craft a little bit more. Although I hate sharing the box room with Craig as its sooo cramped and tiny, it is also really lovely because it has meant that I have been able to sit and craft a bit in the evenings while he is busy doing whatever it is that he does on his computer at night!!

To try and keep me a little more organised I thought that I would alter a notebook to keep at my side on my desk to jot little notes, challenges and inspiration in. I couldn't resist using this image when i found it during a clearout - I like to think that is what i look like while catching up with all your beautiful blogs!! I think she is Stamping Bella and she has been coloured once again with copics. The papers are all MMEand I finished off with a button, some ribbon and blingy chipboard alphas :)

I would like to enter my little notebook into the following challenges:
Chocolate, Coffee & Cards - Glitter
Crafty Purple Frog - Anything Goes
My time to Craft - Favourtie Embellishment ( chipboard alpha, glitter and bling!)

Pink and Blue with a lot of fluff and sparkles

No - you are not going mad, I have indeed made a christmas card!!! Last year I was absolutely RUBBISH with my Christmas cards, I am thinking the newborn baby thing was a lot of the reason, but still, I knew when she was due so I could have done ALOT better. To try and rectify the situation, I have promised myself to try and make a few Christmas cards each month.

This is another cute little card so there wasnt really much room for embellies. The papers are MME Colourful Christmas and they have all be layered upon black cardstock with the right edges rounded. Quite a simple card really, image is a digi from somewhere and has been coloured with my copic markers, to add some extra detailing I covered the snow in the image with polar white flowersoft and added some 3d glaze to his little eyes and buttons. A little craftwork cards sentiment in the corner with glamour dust sparkle and a sparkling diecut snowflake and little pink rose.

- Sorry about the awful pictures that I have been posting lately!!! The weather outside is .. well frightful lol and it gets dark stupidly early, I have taken to photographing my cards and projects under the daylight lamp which isnt too ideal!!

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
The Ribbon Girl - Pink and Blue

Secret Crafter - Anything Goes with Blue
