Anniversary card :)

It was my looooovely Mum and Dads anniversary on Monday, this is the card that I made them. How cool is that image - its a Pink Cat Studio digi image and i looove it!! It takes forever to colour all those hearts though - although i guess if you coloured them all the same colour it wouldnt take you anywhere near as long as it did me!!! - Im really pleased with the results though :)

The papers are a few years old from MME. Im trying really hard to use up my old stash, its really yummy and i have to teach myself not to be afraid of cutting it up!! I was very proud of myself for cutting into 3 unused sheets of paper!!! Go me!! lol!!!!!!! I used another one of those large brads too - i really love them now i have used some and i have no idea why i hadn't used them for soo long!!! I layered the papers onto some coredinations cardstock and used my heart lace border punch along the bottom strip.

Stampin for the Weekend - Monochrome - i totally understand if you dont count this as monochrome, but the whole thing is pretty much shades of red - i just couldnt do it to poor Billy and give him pink trousers!!!
Crafty Creations - One colour - Again, i understand if you dont count this as being one colour :)
Creative Card Crew - Celebrations - I think mum and dads anniversary can be counted as a suitable celebration :)
