Today I have my Mothers Day card for my Mum to share. I always make her card for Birthdays ect, and she always tells me that my cards all look the same - well not the same but that she can tell that I made them - I hope she is talking about my 'style' lol, so a few weeks ago I made her Anniversary card ridiculously simple, it looked nothing like any of my other cards! I thought she would be pleased, but she said she didnt like it as much ... it didn't look like a Zoe card lol - no pleasing some people hey? So when i made her Mothers Day card I wanted to try and make it as ME as possible!! When i was younger I was slightly obsessed with purple, if it came in purple I had to have it, so I thought i would make my card as purple as possible .. looking at it now I think it might be purple overload hehe!!!
I used another Lili of the Valley cutie, I do love their images!!! I coloured it with my copics, cut out with a nestabilities large circle and mounted onto a large scalloped circle. The papers are of course Wild Rose Studio Lilac Mist, and everything has been mounted onto purple cardstock ... can you see that scalloped border punch poking through again? Love it!!!! I paper pierced around some of the edges, added a bow, a little rose and some gems to finish I couldn't resist the little sentiment which I printed from the computer, I wanted to get the handmade idea in there somewhere where the lil bear is cooking up a cake, and I thought it seemed fitting as I handmade a ZOE card for mum lol!! ... Hope its not tooo purple for you all!!
